Life is constant changes, going back to the begining!

Well our time as recumbent riders has come to a close, we had hoped to be able to buy a "recumbent tandem", it's just not financially possible and being almost "9 feet long", the R-tandem won't fit in our "one" bedroom apartment!! So we bought a  Trek T-900 conventional tandem and have found that for us, going from bent to conventional bike and back is hard on our 50+ year old knees and hips, each type of bike uses a different pedaling style and mussel group.  So we are selling our SUN EZ-1 SX, CLWB recumbents.

I'm buying a 2012 Jamis Coda Sport, flat bar road bike and we will be picking up a KHS Vitamin B, "fitness bike", for Jo in early October 2011.  Will there ever be recumbents in our future, who knows, as we get older may come back and get into "recumbent TRIKES" but for now it's back to "conventional" bikes and just RIDE!
