Finally, PROGRESS on the Midland Trail MUP!!

I've been watching the "extremely" slow process of the building of the Midland Trail/MUP from 31st. street to 25th. street all summer! It's finally showing some progress as you can now use the trail from 28th. street and Vermijo st. all the way to Ridge Road.

There's also progress from 28th. to 26th. street, there's concrete being layed in both directions but from what I can tell it's gona take 2 to 3 more bridges before the path can actually be used. Orginally it was supposed to be completed by the end of August 2011 up to 25th. street but I bet were looking at the end of Nov. before that's completed.

I see no real work on 25th. st. to trailhead on 21st. street and I'm at a loss on how or where the path is going to go. They've put a median down 21st. street at the trail head but only traffic engineers could think a 90% corner is a GOOD THING for bicycles and peds, arrrugh! :(  Well here's some photo's of the progress, it will be really nice come next spring/summer riding season!
