We attended the Peoples Pedal Party in downtown Colorado Springs, CO. Sunday August 21st. it's the starting celebration for the US Pro Cycling Championships races. They are hosting the "Prolouge", here in C. Springs, which is a "time trial" to set up positions for the 1st. of a series of "road races" that cover the whole State of Colorado!
We had a great time, bands, food, vendors, all in a totally blocked off section of downtown on Sunday between 4-8 PM. LOL, yes we got a bit of rain but it didn't last long and since we WON free Peoples Pedal Party T-shirts there was FREE food for us at different resturants downtown, YEA! Probably close to 1000 bicyclist on every kind a bicycle you can imagine! A great time, hope to made it too!
