Our first Tandem!!

I sold the EZ-Sport AX to a great person and went down and bought our first Tandem bicycle today at Old Town Bike Shop in Colorado Springs, CO.  We got a Trek T-900 Recreational Style (hybrid) tandem and we will pick it up on Saturday (7/16), we have to have "both" of us there for a "fitting", we think this will be a lot of FUN!

We've been thinking about getting a tandem for a long time but with Jo being "very short" legged most were just to tall in the "strokers" section (back seat) for her and if they did fit her, they were EXPENSIVE!!!! The T-900 has a aluminum frame and chrome molly fork, deore derailleurs and "40 spoke HD wheels", etc. It's not a hardcore touring machine but I think it will do great at "recreational riding and lite touring", like overnights and weekends, which is what we can afford! Well wish us luck and we hope to see YOU on the Road! :)
