WOW, the WIND has been insane in Southern CO. for the last 2 months!!! Yes, we usually get some heavy wind at times in March but this year it blew crazely the whole month of March and April seems even worse so far!! I'm not talking about a heavy breeze, it's WIND that tries to "knock you off your bike, when stopped" or "blow you into the traffic, when your riding"!!
Out my window on this Sunday morning, it's SUNNY but the trees are bending towards the ground! Of course this "isn't" helping Jo get in the miles to get her, "Recumbent Legs" at all, summers gona be here and we aren't going to have enough "seat time" to hang for the "longer rides" and the weeks touring we hope to do, rats. Hoping for a least a "overnight" ride by the end of May. Jo's new job (lateral transfer, not a promotion), makes it so we can't take vacation in either "June or July", that just SUCKS! :( So we have to wait till the middle of August for our touring this year. Oh well, LOL, maybe the wind will settle down by then and we can get, "on the road again"!!
