Christmas Day Ride, 2010

Well I know that "most" folks want a "White Christmas" but Jo and I prefer a, "BROWN Christmas"! There's nothing like getting to go for a ride on Christmas Day, it just seems more special for some reason. All our kids are grown and all the Grandkids are "out of state", LOL, well even the "1" that lives here is in Kansas, with her Mom's parents.

We rode both street and paved trails today, it was SUNNY but chilly but only "lite winds" so that made for a excellent day to ride. The temps. got up into the mid-40 F's so it still require "winter" dress for riding but the sky was so blue, we found a open convience store for lunch, then made our way up the "Foothills Trail" to the Mesa St. Overlook for photos of US with our BIKES. Since I usually take all the photo's, it's a "rare" thing to get a photo of Me and my bike, so we will post them below, in the background is the Garden of the Gods, "Kissing Camels" rock formation and Pikes Peak. The ride was 21 miles rt., with a lot of uphill inclines and some steep hills here and there too. Happy Holidays from US, hope you too got in a RIDE!
