Jo and I attended the Oct. 2010 Colorado Springs Cycling Club "Progressive Dinner Ride". A 25+ mile ride with over 1400ft. of elevation and lot's of HILLS! LOL, well as usual Jo and I are the slowest riders in the club but they use a "No Drop" ride set up with a "sweep" rider so we are way behind but they send riders to wait at the corners/intersections so we can get to the destination. This Progressvie Dinner Ride, is kinda cool, it's starts with "snack session" at the first stop, "dinner stop" at the 2nd. stop and finally, (the best part) at Dessert stop! It's set up in homes of members of the club, (there are times I wish we had more than our tiny one bedroom apt.!!).
The CSCC is full of nice folks, most are well accomplished riders and well over what Jo and I can easily ride with but so far, LOL, they haven't asked us "turtles" to leave so we keep showing up! ;) This was our first Progressive Dinner Ride and except for the HILLS it was FUN!!
