Bicyclist's, The Movie

http://www.thebicyclists.com/  We rode to the first, "Bike to the Movie Night", last night a BBQ joint, (Front Range BBQ), in Old Colorado City, (the westside of Colorado Springs). Jo and I rode up first to the Garden of the Gods, then back down to the BBQ joint and got in on another ride around the area, then back to the BBQ for food and the movie. This movie is a "Indie Film Festival" winner and has a really nice story but a VERY sad ending. There was a good turn out from the Colorado Springs Cycling Club and lot's of just independent riders too so it was a lot of FUN!

Rode home in the DARK, had all the light blazing and blinking to max power and made it home safe just about 10PM. Riding in the dark on a bicycle is strange as you don't seem to feel the "time" as much as your consentrating on the area the headlights are strong in and don't have other "visual" clues to your current location. There suppose to do this once a month from now on but I think it will be a bit to COLD for the next few months as it's shown on a covered patio.

Take care, Ride Safe, have FUN!

B.J.
