Busy week, should be FUN!

We did a club, Tour De Latte ride on Sat., then went to the LBS to have "new upgraded" wheel's installed on Jo's bike, also go her a new 3-led headlight so we will be ready for our work at the "Starlight Spectacular", Night Ride here in the Springs this coming Saturday! http://www.starlightspectacular.org/
We are working the "2nd. Rest Stop" at Bancroft Park, on the Westside of town in "Old Colorado City area". The ride starts at "MIDNIGHT" on Saturday (11:59 PM) and last till the wee hrs. of Sunday Morning, should be a bit of crazy FUN. We couldn't afford to "ride the ride" so we volunteered to work it.

Weds. is the annual, "Bike to Work Breakfast", held at the Pionner Museum, downtown and at 3 Salsa Bravo Resturant's, thru out the city! 6:30 am-8:30 am, we go to the breakfast downtown. LOL, being a mediclly retired house husband, for me it more, Ride away from work! ;) Jo has to switch with the other lady in her dept. and end's up working the "late shift" so she can make the breakfast, which kind sucks but she's worried about being "late" so it works out. Hope the weather is MUCH better than last year, it was actually, cold and foggy last year, we had to "bundle up" in JUNE!! :O

We are still working on our first, "Multi-Day" mini-tour, trying to get in miles but it's not easy, so it's gona be a bit of "tough it out" tour, arrugh! Still looking very forward to getting the bicycle's, "on the road again"! ;) July 12th. is the start date, will take photo's and post a journal on CGOAB.com, when it's completed. Don't have a laptop or a fancy smart phone to be able to "post" while were riding, rat's! :( Well, that's it for now, hope you've got some good rides in, Summer is "going" FAST, we wait forever for it and it just "blows by" so ENJOY it while it's here! :)
