Well just like last year, when the "bike to work" breakfast comes to town, it decided to turn the weather "back to FALL"!! Cloudy and chilly but at least not as COLD as last year. Colorado Springs has the "bike to work breakfast", each year during June as that's considered "Bike Month" in Colorado, (maybe other parts of the USA too??) and it's just a fun thing to do. For me it's more like, Getting away from work" but for Jo, she still has to "go to work", just the later shift today, RATS! :( Finally remembered to take the camera this time so I'll add a couple of photo's on the blog. It's basicly FREE, they ask (not required) a $1 per wheel donation, good food, scrambled eggs with onions and peppers, fruit, homestyle potatos, juice and you can eat your fill!. They had a great turnout, this year. They made a Big Deal about the "Mayor's Ride", you could ride from UCCS with the Mayor, City police (bicycle cops), ect. but that's too far for us as you have to be there at "6AM"! The Breakfast is 6:30AM to 8:30AM, they give out door prizes, which includes a "New Bicycle" usually from Ted's Bicycles. It's FUN, come join us in 2011!B.J. and Jo :)
