Rode with over two dozen bicyclist's last night for the "Ride of Silence", the route was to a memorial marker for two cyclist's killed a year ago. It was sad as these were really young folks, that has their whole life ahead of them, taken out in a second by a distracted driver, who ran a stop sign. If she'd have taken "30 seconds" to stop, they'd be "ALIVE" and she wouldn't be in Jail, THINK when you DRIVE, thanks.
The riders wore sign's, stating, Share The Road, Ride of Silence, ect. and "black arm bands" representing the "Fallen Cyclist's", in a prosession, that went threw down town and out to the memorial. The group was "silent" and respectful and our hope is that at least a few of the "DRIVERS" got the message to "THINK" when you drive. This is a "National Level" and also a "World Level" movement, hopefully next years even will be MUCH larger.
